Tyler was struggling. He had gone through a dramatic transformation on his own—nearly 100 pounds lost. Everyone who knew him personally was amazed at his journey, quick to praise him for the incredible transformation he had achieved. Yet, in the back of his mind, something didn’t feel right.
Tyler was in pain. Constantly.
His back and hips felt like they were made of glass. Every step sent sharp, hammer-like pain through his fragile joints. But despite the discomfort, he couldn’t slow down or stop his exercise routine and diet. He was terrified that pausing even for a moment would undo all the hard work he had put in over the last year.
When Tyler looked at his kids, his heart broke. He wanted to play with them—get on the floor and wrestle without wincing, go outside to teach them how to throw a baseball or shoot a basketball. But it was hard enough just getting himself out of bed in the morning. That’s when Tyler heard about Prolific Health and Fitness and how we approach fitness differently. He decided to give us a try.

The True Transformation
While his progress in the gym has been incredible, my favorite part of Tyler’s journey has nothing to do with lifting weights. It’s the way his transformation has impacted his family life.
Tyler tells us that he’s a better husband and father now. He’s more present with his wife and a stronger leader in his household. He coaches his kids’ little league teams, spends time outdoors with them, and lives the active, engaged life he once only dreamed about.
He no longer feels like his back is made of glass. Instead, he’s built a body capable of adventure—a body that allows him to hold his daughter when she’s sad or lift his son up to the monkey bars so he can imagine himself swinging through the Amazon like Tarzan.
That’s the real win.
It’s not just about being able to deadlift pain-free. It’s about being the parent your kids need you to be, the spouse your partner deserves, and the person you aspire to become.
